“Physiotherapy” is the art of healing using non invasive therapeutic procedures in treatment of conditions where movement and function are threatened by ageing, injury, disease or environmental factor. The treatment procedures are innovative and experimentally proved. Here in the department we follow the proverb “Learning is not a spectator job”. It always requires two way inattentiveness for better
understanding and grasping. Education is always fruitful when students are taught “where to see and not what to see”. Hence a hand on teaching procedure is encouraged here in the department which is more of a patient oriented than theoretical.
It is advantageous for us to have 300 bedded super specialist hospital attached with Proposed Medical College in the same campus, where students will get good exposure of different kind of patients, which will be fruitful for physiotherapy students in enhancing the knowledge and skill.
